Fees
My fee for 50-55 minute sessions is $200. I strongly believe in economic justice and trust your ability to make transparent decisions regarding accessing this space in a sustainable way. To support this, I offer a sliding scale fee structure based on financial need basis. If finances are a barrier for you and you would like to work with me, I invite you to reach out so we can discuss the current availability of sliding scale options.
Insurance
I am not in-network with Insurance. I am an out-of-network provider which means I can support you in maximizing your out-of-network benefits by providing you with a monthly invoice that you can submit to your insurance company.

Why don't you take Insurance?
I often get asked this question, and I'm glad you're wondering about it. I firmly believe that therapy should be accessible to all individuals. Furthermore, as the client, you should have a say in how you would like your therapeutic process to unfold, without feeling constrained or pressured to rush through a journey that requires time, sensitivity, patience, and pacing. Unfortunately, insurance companies often operate differently, requiring a diagnosis or setting a limited number of sessions to acknowledge and address your emotional needs and distress. As a Trauma-informed therapist, it is my responsibility to question and critically examine systems that fail to recognize your experiences with the dignity and respect you deserve. I understand the importance of ensuring that you maintain a sense of autonomy, agency, and control throughout the therapy process, especially considering the vulnerability it entails.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an investment that necessitates learning and inquiry, not only from the client but also from myself as the therapist. The fees I charge enable me to participate in educational and supervisory spaces, which, in turn, contribute to sustaining this critical and meaningful work for both you and me.
Lastly, if you are able to pay the full fee of $180, it allows individuals with different financial needs to access a space that plays a vital role in creating safer communities. It enables us to build healthier, reliable, and meaningful relationships with one another.
How will I know if you're a good fit for me?
I understand that it can be difficult to determine if someone is a good fit for you based solely on a website. It can feel overwhelming to know where to start and how to begin the therapy process, perhaps even depending on what your past experiences with therapy have been. Please feel free to reach out for a complimentary 30-minute video or phone consultation. This will allow us to see if we would be a good match and give you the time to ask any questions you may have about the process. It's an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves and for you to share a little more about what you're searching for and how I can support you.
What methods of payment do you accept?
I charge after a session has been completed and accept Zelle. You will also have your own private portal where an automated charge can happen after every session. I am happy to discuss alternatives with you if needed.
What is your cancellation policy?
I kindly request a 48-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. I understand that unexpected life events and emergencies can occur, and in such cases, if the notice falls outside the window, I appreciate honest communication so that necessary adjustments can be made. Otherwise, the full fee will be charged.
Where are you located?
I'm a New York State licensed clinician and can only see individuals located and residing in New York. I currently see clients in person and virtually through a secure video conferencing platform.
